I had a decompression operation for spinal stenosis on 24 October. I was given a pair of below knee Fitlegs compression socks before the op. When I was discharged on 26 Oct I was given a spare pair of compression socks but these were a different make and were uncomfortable.I have to wear TED stockings for 6 weeks post op so I ordered a pack of three pairs of Fitlegs Compression Socks so I had enough to last. They are comfortable and supportive, sufficiently tight but not restricting the circulation, and they are wearing well.
Great product, used by hospital following open heart surgery, we were issued a second pair, but I wanted to be prepared as my husband needed to wear the socks for 6 weeks, so ordered 2 pairs directly from Fitlegs. Exactly the same as issued by hospital, good fit, takes a bit of practice for carer to put them on patient as the socks are very tight fitting. Easy to wash and line dry. Simple to use website, good product description and arrived as stated.
The sales person said I would receive my order in two to three working days but it arrived in the post the morning after! Brilliant. The stockings both long and short really have helped with my husbands' peripheral neuropathy, he can now sleep for up to three, sometimes 4 hours consecutively overnight, which is absolutely brilliant compared to what he has been. How do I choose the right size compression sock?
For our medical compression sock collection, please refer to the AES sizing chart for guidance.
If selecting a product from the Everyday Life, Sports, or Recovery ranges, start by using your shoe size and refer to the sizing chart. It’s essential to ensure that your shoe size falls within the specified ankle measurements.
If you’re unsure, we recommend consulting your healthcare professional for further advice.
Do I need a prescription for compression stockings?
Ready-to-wear and standard off-the-shelf compression garments do not require a prescription. However, some of our medical and AES compression socks do require sign off from a doctor.
How can I buy the Cryon-X machine?

What therapies does the Cryon-X offer?
Cryon-X offers cryotherapy down to 5±3°C degrees, thermotherapy up to 43±3°C degrees, contrast therapy and compression therapy. There are 7 compression levels that can be used with all therapy options, ranging from 15mmHg – 75mmHg.
How long does it take the Cryon-X to get down to 5 degrees?
It cools from room temperature to 5°C in less than 5 minutes. Cryon-X to get down to the 5-degree optimum treatment level.
